We want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about First Baptist Church of Montezuma!

We are excited about what God is doing in our church and we would love to have you join us for worship one morning. Currently, we meet on Sundays at 11:00 AM for corporate worship and Sunday Bible Study at 9:45 AM. In addition, we have numerous special classes and ministry events planned throughout the year for Children, Youth, College, Women, Men, Adults and Senior adults.

What to Expect…

We want you to come as you are. God calls men and women of all races, cultures, political persuasions, and economic backgrounds to become one in Christ.

Here’s what you can expect when visiting:

• Each service lasts about 60-75 minutes.
• We can provide nursery care if needed; we allow the parents to decide if nursery care is desired.
• People at our gatherings usually wear what feels comfortable for them. For many, that’s jeans and a collared shirt or t-shirt, or even a suit. Feel free to come as you are.
• We preach the Bible by expounding of the text of the Scriptures. We believe the Bible tells a gripping story that can both explain and solve life’s problems.
• Our musical style encompasses elements of traditional hymns, some modern styles of praise and worship. and elements of Southern Gospel. Some songs are joyful, some are sorrowful, and all of them are about the truth of God’s gospel.

We would love for you to join us. First Baptist Church has ministries available for the entire family, and we welcome the opportunity to involve your gifts and talents as we serve our community.

How Do I Get There?

We are conveniently located in downtown Montezuma at 207 North Dooly St., right across from the Medicine Stop Pharmacy If you turn on Church St., there is parking on the street, or there is a back parking lot behind the church off of Drayton Street.
